KH OC Bio: Larxy Bennet

Before Birth by Sleep

Birth
Larxy’s mother abandoned her as a baby in the forests of a small world known as Amensia. Her crying caught the attention of a kind elf passing through named Castora. Although she and her husband Galatae already had a son of their own named Norso, they both agreed they had more than enough room in their hearts for another child, even a human one. They adopted the baby, and gave her the name Larxy which meant “she who finds” in their ancient language.

Age 2
Castora would often tell the children stories of the great keyblade masters never telling them that she and Galatae were once among their ranks. Remnants of Castora's unwelcomed past started to creep back into her life. As dark forces started to work their way into her mind she searched desperately for a way to dispel the thoughts as quickly and painlessly as possible. She happened upon a spell that removed the darkness from her heart. It took form as a “heartless” replica of her and attempted to destroy their world. Though she swore to never summon her keyblade again long ago, Castora used it to seal their world from her dark self’s power at the price of putting the entire world into sleep. She was able to send Galatae and the children to another world, and placed a spell on Larxy so she would seek out a strong light to guide the three of them home one day.

Age 4-Age 7
After the events that transpired on Amnesia, Galatae took the two children and dropped them onto the first world he came upon; Radiant Garden. From the amount of stress and magic overload, Larxy’s smaller state was knocked unconscious, and Norso was barely able to keep his thoughts straight, so when they woke up in a warm bed in a calm household, it was unusual. Taking precautions, Norso decided to leave the bedroom, waking Larxy up in the process. Together, they tried to figure out what was happening, until they ran into a boy, only about two years older then Norso. He explained to them that his father had found them last night during a storm on his way home from work, and decided to bring them back. Leading them to his father, Judeikas, he questioned what they where doing, and Norso played it off as their parents had been reported dead while acting in service and that they had no where to go, so Judeikas decided he’d house the two of them until he or they could find better arangements, and until then, he schooled them along with his two children, Yuuma and Tsubasa. However as months went by he grew attached, even if he wouldn’t admit it, and decided he’d allow them to stay permanently. When the world was destroyed everyone was separated, and Larxy fell into a dark portal that appeared in front of her.

Age 7-Age 11
Having escaped before Amensia was put to sleep, Castora’s heartless replica kidnapped Larxy and told her that she was her aunt. She mentally, verbally, and at the claws of neoshadows physical abused her attempting to snuff out her light. Over and over she instilled thoughts into the young girl’s head. “You will amount to nothing. Your heart is destined to return to the darkness. If you wish to even be remembered you must embrace that darkness and spread it into the hearts of others.” This left extreme emotional scaring on Larxy that would eventually rear it's ugly head as PTSD, her main trigger being Neoshadows. Eventually the girl decided enough was enough and escaped. That night she had a dream where she ran around a strange town following a colorful bat until they reached a door marked in a sign above it "Third District". The door opened and Larxy swore she saw a figure in the bright light, but she woke up before she could see them clearly. Even stranger, she woke up on a completely different world.

Age 11-Age 15
Like clockwork every month she had that same weird dream and then woke up on a new world. Her ability to trust anyone was shattered by her “Aunt” and so she became a thief to acquire her basic needs, planning her biggest raids the night before she travels again.

During Kingdom Hearts 1

Age 16
For a few months she didn’t have the dream again. In this time a guild of thieves started taking notice of her intruding on “their turf.” She was given the option to join or be killed. Something in her gut said that she would not be there the next morning. She tried to explain this to the guild leader but was blamed for coming up with excuses. After escaping by herself, a strange man appeared and offered his hideout as a safe place for her to spend the night. He gave her his scarf and let her sleep in a real bed. When asked why he was so kind to her he simply replied, “It runs in the family.” Larxy fell asleep before she could get another word out, and did indeed have "the dream" again.

Her routine continued with no oddities.

Age 18
After years of being alone, Larxy woke up in an alley of Traverse Town. No one seemed to be around so she allowed herself to explore a bit. She wandered into an area marked “3rd District” and was greeted by heartless. For awhile she attempted to fight them off, but froze in fear as a neoshadow materialized in front of her. Her mind raced with thoughts and sights of the years of abuse and torment she experienced. Suddenly, she felt a hand grabbing hers and snapped out of her daze to see a boy slightly older than her. He cast a protective aeroga spell on them before someone else joined the battle; the same man that saved her two years ago. When the battle was won the man revealed that he was her father Galatae, and the boy that helped her was her brother Norso. Both of them removed a spell that they placed on themselves to hide their elf ears, and Larxy embraced them feeling safe and knowing she was finally reunited with her family.
Galatae trained Larxy to weild a katana and continued to help Norso improve his magic. It wasn’t long before they learned of the heartless replica’s whereabouts: she had returned to Radiant Garden. The three of them traveled there by gummiship and together put an end to her once and for all.


After the events unfolded the real Castora removed the seal from Amensia and moved to Radiant Garden. She reunited with them and began work as the official healer for the Radiant Garden orphanage. Larxy and Norso began fighting heartless for the citizens for either no charge or a simple favor such as a meal after the battle. The 4 of them immediately began trying to reclaim the time they lost as a family. Wishing to avoid the question of her Elfish last name, she adopted the name that Norso and Galatae used while in hiding on Traverse Town: Bennet. Larxy re-united with Tsubasa, though time and certain changes that had occurred in both of them had almost completely dismantled their once sisterly bond.

Although Larxy had dismissed the idea of keblade masters being real, she couldn't ignore the whispers going around of one who had saved Radiant Garden and even restored its name. She decided to look into it, and while clearing heartless one day without Norso's help found herself being helped by a real keyblade master. Amazed (and slightly angry that she was wrong) she asked who he was and he introduced himself as Riku. The two crossed paths on multiple occasions proving to be quite an adept fighting duo. One day while working together again a neoshadow appeared and Riku saw Larxy having another episode. He destroyed the neoshadow thinking it would help her fear but didn't know that in this state she couldn't see or hear what was happening around her. He held her close until she came to again, and offered to help her at least reduce her fear. She begrudgingly accepted and the two became partners. While Norso had only tapped her shoulder or held her hand when she freaked out Riku's instinct was to always hold her. Eventually she started to think of his arms as the only place where nothing could harm her. The episodes became slightly more rare as time went on. She unknowingly helped Riku with his fear of not having the skills to be a good mentor/master, and even his lingering fear of himself and his own mistakes. By the time Riku was summoned back to prepare for the oncoming keyblade war he had not only helped Larxy to be brave enough to at least look at a neoshadow without a panic attack, but the two had also declared themselves to be romantic partners as well.

KH3 (for now until the game comes out and completely destroys this)

Larxy and Norso continue to help clear heartless in Radiant Garden, although after meeting Riku Larxy takes more of an interest in the outside worlds again. She has access to a gummi-ship and knows how to pilot it after Galatae gave her lessons, and knows basic magic to change her form for different worlds and for minor healing. Norso more often than not will stay on Radiant Garden, though he is known to join her for an adventure or two. There are times when Larxy will see Riku on the other worlds, but prefers to not distract him from the task at hand. Thanks to her family and Riku she is much more open and trusting, and willing to make new friends, though she won't always be delighted to instigate the conversation.





Yep it's here! The new bio! I didn't really wanna do it this morning but I was afraid that if I left it sitting on my laptop for too long I would lose it! So you get it today! Just enjoy the trailer hype as I will probably re-post this another time!
